It was over 25 years ago since its founder, Marcela Fernández de Gándara, launched the program
“UN PASO A TIEMPO”
(A timely step)
Due to her deep concern over teenage alcohol abuse, her initiative soon became her life’s work and that of her family’s. This project would give way to several generations of men and women committed to social welfare.
As of that moment, we became convinced that love and resolve can transform the family, and consequently, society as well. Therefore, we decided to continue creating and implementing programs and projects that could improve different problems in our environment, while also organizing a volunteer system that could become an ongoing, solid movement.
Our driving force is the family and all it represents as the core of society. We firmly believe that one of the best ways to improve our society is through the values instilled in our homes, where love and service to our neighbor become a life style that can make a difference in others and create generations of people committed to their environment.
In Fundación GANFER®, we implement different ongoing programs that provide specific needs to different sectors of the population. We not only offer them the assistance they require, but also sustainability tools that can help the beneficiaries improve their situation on a permanent basis.Fundación Ganfer® invites you to pool our efforts in contributing to the welfare of Mexico’s families.
